Overview
The Pony Express 1065 Lithium is the 1065 for operations that run more than one shift. It is rated for 5,000 lb on casters and up to 20,000 lb on rails. Actual pull depends on your casters and floor.
The 24 V, 40 Ah lithium iron phosphate pack swaps by hand. When the pack on the tugger calls for a charge, the operator trades it for the charged pack on the charging station and goes back to work. The battery monitor gives light and sound alerts and a Bluetooth app shows the charge on a phone.
The chassis stays 25 inches long and 24 inches wide, so heavy loads still move through tight halls and aisles. Two speed ranges cover 0 to 1.5 mph and 0 to 3 mph. Carts attach with a draw bar, a ring coupler or a ball hitch, and custom couplings are available. Spare packs and the lithium charging station are sold separately so you can build the rotation your shifts need.

How does the swappable pack work?
The 24 V, 40 Ah lithium iron phosphate pack lifts off the tugger and a charged pack goes on in its place. With a spare pack and the charging station, one tugger covers back to back shifts.
How does the 1065 Lithium attach to our carts?
With a draw bar, a ring coupler or a ball hitch. Custom couplings are available. Send us photos and dimensions of your carts and we quote the hitch with the tugger.
Should we choose lithium or AGM?
Choose the 1065 Lithium when the tugger has to cover more than one shift. For a single shift, the AGM 1065 does the same 5,000 lb work with an onboard charger.
