Overview
The ballast weight adds mass over the drive wheel. More weight on the drive tire means more grip, so the wheel is less likely to spin when the tugger starts a heavy load or climbs a grade.
Consider it when operators see wheel spin on wet or painted floors, on ramps or on dock grades.

It adds weight over the drive wheel, so the tire grips better on slick floors and grades.
Which tuggers does it fit?
It is listed on the 1061 Lithium and 1061-HD Lithium spec sheets, shown on this page. For other models, send us your tugger model and serial number and we confirm the fit before you order.
Does it change the towing rating?
No. It helps the tugger use its rated pull on floors where the tire would slip. Ask us about your floor and ramps.
